The Virtual Health Careers Conference Weekend Is Back! #VHCC2021 Following the success of #VHCC2020, we are pleased to bring you a Free To Attend weekend with two focused conferences providing global insights. Organised by the Award-Winning Health Careers Live team, the events are supported by NHS Health Education England, the General Medical Council, Universities and key organisations.

Day 1 – Saturday 10th July 2021 Virtual Health Carers Conference: Aspiring Focus  Discover Your Career in Healthcare Open to school and college students, graduates, mature students, teachers and career advisors, parents, and guardians.

AHP Live Stage An exciting stage programmed by the 14 Allied Health Professions. Discover Hub New for 2021, A dedicated virtual work experience hub. Discover your pathway into one of the 350 roles within the NHS. Be part of a patient journey, learn about the multidisciplinary team and reflect on your own journey and discover routes to your career including apprenticeships and university. Apply Hub Learn how to apply to your chosen field with a focus on Nursing, Midwifery, Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry and non-clinical careers. Support Hub Workshop exploring support for your journey and healthcare pathway. Waiting Room Q&A in a virtual lounge with leading professionals, students and patients. Elliot

Elliot is a St George’s graduate currently working as an F1 Doctor in East London. As the first in his family to apply to university, Elliot is well aware of the barriers that can be faced in trying to get to medical school. He is passionate about widening access to medicine for underrepresented groups.
 
 He was the representative for St George’s on the BMA Medical Students Committee, and has done lots of work with local schools and colleges to raise awareness of medicine as a career, as well as working on admissions policies with the widening participation team St George’s. Elliot is part of the @BecomingaDr outreach team and National Health Careers Conference Team.
